I believe Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. He is my Lord, savior and Holy redeemer.

I think Pink Lady apples taste the way roses smell.

I learned how to cross stitch once. I love it but have been on hiatus for a while now.

I go through phases of hobbies. I’ll get stuck on one thing for a while and get a bit obsessed.

I like a wide variety of music. One never knows what will show up when shuffling through my iTunes.

I absolutely love ice, especially store bought.  I drink ice water like it’s going out of style.

I am proud to be different. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I wave my freak flag high!   🙂

In high school I enjoyed newspaper, yearbook, drama, pep club, English and Spanish. Unfortunately, I don’t remember much of the Spanish I learned.

I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

I believe age is nothing but a number.

I believe “size acceptance” should embody acceptance of ALL SIZES.

Both of my parents have passed away. My mom was 40 and my dad was 45.

All of my life until now I have lived to try to fill an emptiness inside me or to please other people. Now I am finding out who *I* truly am.

I don’t like politics. I think that both sides are flawed and there are liars in every party… and frankly, it bores me. There, I said it.

My attention span ranges from nil to obsessive.

Apparently, I feel the need to share every detail of my life with anyone who feels like reading about it.

I have the bestest buddies in the world. I don’t know what I would do without them.

My jaw pops loudly when I yawn. My dentist said it is because I grind my teeth in my sleep. Years ago a doctor told me it was TMJ, a jaw disorder. I don’t know what it really is. All I know is it really freaks some people out.

My fingers are hyper-extended. A hand specialist told me that and that it is a sign of some sort of disorder but he can’t remember what it’s called. I haven’t been back to see him since.

When I was in high school I went to a Christian version of Woodstock with a group of friends from church. The 2 or 3 day music festival was  called “Cornerstone”. We brought tents and coolers and camped out. Concerts day in and day out, chillin by campfire, shopping for groceries in tents and trekking back to our campground, meeting Rich Mullins and seeing him in concert… it was completely awesome and unforgettable.

As a freshman in high school I went with a group of kids from church and school on a missions trip to Galeana, Mexico. At least I think that’s what it was called. I need to look at my photo album again. Anyway, it was life changing. That was one of the times in my life that really lit the fire in my heart for the Lord.

My day planner from a couple of years ago has a picture of my mom, grandma and aunt on the front of it and says “Live Laugh Love” at the top. Inside the front cover it has Jeremiah 29:11 ‘”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”‘
